Improved Production Queensland heads to Morgan Park in Warwick this weekend for round three of the state championship.

The category will mark the halfway point for the series and the battle for top honours in both under and over 2 litre classes is heating up.

Justin Wade is leading the overs while Jason Grimmond is close behind after a strong showing at Queensland Raceway. David Homer will be keeping them honest in the giant killing Suzuki Swift.

Greg Hartnett leads the unders with D’Arcy Wade close behind and Troy Mavin rounding out the top three.

Last round Hartnett and Wade were dicing in close battles, providing some exciting racing across the weekend.

Wade looks strong for Morgan Park after learning a lot throughout the last racing weekend on setting up his Honda Integra.

“I did learn a lot at QR with suspension, especially on Sunday morning in the rain. We put a new gearbox in for this round at Morgan Park, it’s a lot stronger than the old one so I can’t wait. Keen as.”, Wade said.

David Waldon will be back after an absence from round two to keep his titles chances alive in the unders class as there is only 80 points covering the top five cars.

It’s going to be a red hot battle at the front of each class over the weekend. With more than 20 cars entered, over three races, across two days. Improved Production Queensland is set for an epic weekend of close hard racing.

Make sure you don’t miss the action out at Morgan Park Raceway, May 28-29. Tickets will be on sale at the gate.
