The penultimate round of the Improved Production Queensland series is back at Morgan Park Raceway this weekend for the CAMS state championship.

IPRA will have a strong showing and will be sure to provide some of the best racing.

The over 2 litre championship is heating up with Jason Grimmond and Steve Jukes leading the charge, with only 50 points separating them.

“I will be treating this round at Morgan Park the same as any other round. Have a good clean round and hopefully be at the pointy end”, said Grimmond.

“Looking forward to having my mate Kyle Organ-Moore back – Commodore V8’s all the way!”

Kyle will be making a return this weekend after sitting out the first half of the championship with engine troubles from Bathurst earlier this year.

D’Arcy Wade is going to have his work cut out with Lakeside round winner Greg Hartnett starting to gain some momentum in the championship.

“I’m definitely looking forward to the upcoming round in September. Greg Hartnett and David Waldon are going to be tough ones to beat. I want to finish the year strong”, Wade said.

Round 5 of the IPRA championship will be a cracking weekend. The round will be held at Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick September 3rd – 4th.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
